Island Peak Climbing in Nepal is for all. From novice to the seasoned veterans the peak is conquerable for all. Having said that it is comfortable though doesn’t guarantee the success. In fact all the snow capped mountains of Nepal are not easy. It requires the expert planning and skillful support crew members. Trekking crew members and climbing crew members are completely different. We will catch up with the climbing crew members Chhukung Valley. Brief final training and instructions will be shared at the Island Peak Base Camp or in Chhukung. Climbing is all about getting information, heeding Sherpa’s or leader’s instructions and intrepidity.

After the entire preparation Island Peak Climbing voyage begins nearly at midnight. Most of the mountains of Nepal needs the early ascent embark. The sole reason behind this is to avoid the strong breeze of the air in the noon.

The climbing is relatively easy than the expedition. However, climbers need to take the ladders in two sections above the crevasses. The trail is on the ridge with vertical down. The most difficult part is the ladder ascent and few meters before the summit. Once you are on the top of the mountain it is truly blissful moment. Make phone calls and click as many pictures as possible to record your feat of conquering the snow capped mountains.

The scenery of the mountains and the Chhukung Valley from the top is spectacular. Lhotse Shar, Makalu etc. are the major mountains seen from the top. The summit is rather spacious in comparison to other mountain tops. Climbers must give special care while returning from the summit. Most of the accidents occur in the mountains while descending.

Relish the proud moment once you are on the Chhukung Valley. The agency will provide the Nepal Government authorized climbing success certificate upon reaching the Kathmandu. Follow the same trail as in Everest Base Camp Trek to Lukla.

Itinerary

In the wake of arriving at the Tribhuwan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a delegate from Serene Treks & Tours who will drop you off at your lodging. At night an appreciated supper will be facilitated by Serene Treks & Tours. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast we start our voyage through four stunning UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These incorporate the structurally rich Durbar Square, the holy Hindu sanctuary of Pashupati Nath, the intriguing 'Monkey Temple' (Swayambunath) and Bauddha Nath Stupa which is one of the biggest stupas on the planet.
