The flight to the Paro Airport is enticing as aircraft takes a turn over hills and land in the airstrip within a valley. Bhutanese representative of Serene Trek will receive you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Depending upon the flight schedule, the sightseeing program will be set.

Regular sightseeing is done in places like Memorial Chorten, Kuenselcholing View Point and Tashicho Dzong. These places have their own identity. Kuenselcholing offers the best view of Thimpu and also has the huge Buddha statue. Memorial Chorten is the chorten constructed in the name of King Jime Dorji who is the father of modern Bhutan as well. Finally the Tashicho Dzong is one of the secretariat building of Bhutan and also the office of king.

Early in the morning we will take our breakfast and drive towards Paro. At the foothill of the Paro Valley Hill, we will start our walking. It takes about 2 – 3 hours to climb up to the monastery from the foothill. The walking is through green lush forests. Enjoy the chirping sound of the birds and serenity/tranquility of the forest environment. Once you are the monastery the spirituality takes over. It is indeed the spirit cleansing place.

After visiting the monastery, we will hike down and take our lunch. In the afternoon, we will various places like National Museum, Kichu Lhakang, Ringpung Zong, etc. Overnight at hotel in Paro
